Vacancies exist for juniors in the Hardcourt Metropolitan Squads.

The squads cater for young athletes from around 10 years of age up to 21 years. They meet on a Tuesday night and Wednesday night for two and a half hours. A total of 30 minutes is devoted to fitness training.

There are four terms each year of nine weeks.

The cost is $210 per term.

Coaches used include John Thompson, Janine Tremelling, Adam Lee, Bree Calderwood, Nikita Sayle.

Entries close for the 2012 Slazenger Interdistrict Competition on Thursday 3 May.

The start dates for the competition are as follows:
- Round 1 for Seniors (4 team divisions) - Sunday 15 July; (6 team divisions) - Sunday 17 June

- Round 1 for junior cups, Blackwell and Angus & Coote - Sunday 22 July

Play will continue with semi finals and divisional play-offs scheduled for Sunday 9 September and the finals on Sunday 16 September.

Birth date rule:
All competitors must be under their age group as at 1 June 2012. Competitors in "seniors" Cups should be over 35 years of age as at 1 June 2012.

This Association will not be conducting the 2012 Metropolitan Hardcourt Championships.

Another tournament will be conducted on the same dates by Tennis NSW.
